Our Name
Why We Are Called Cornerstone
From ages past, the cornerstone was the foundational stone upon which an entire building rested — the single piece that determined the position, alignment, and integrity of every structure that followed. Without it, everything would collapse.
At Cornerstone Care Ltd, we carry that meaning into everything we do. We believe the care we provide is equally foundational to the lives of those we support. Every visit, every care plan, every conversation is built around the individual at the centre.
The cornerstone was not an ornamental piece. It bore the weight. It held everything together. That is precisely the role we aim to fulfil in the lives of every person we are privileged to support.

Our Journey
How Cornerstone Began
Founded with Purpose
Cornerstone Care Ltd was established in 2020 — born out of a genuine desire to support individuals not only within hospital settings, but in the communities and homes where they truly belong. From the very beginning, our approach was simple: listen to the individual, understand their needs, and build care around them — not around a schedule.
A Different Way of Thinking About Care
We believe that people thrive when they are cared for in their own environment. Their own cup. Their own plate. Their own bed. Surrounded by loved ones with unlimited access to visit. These are not small comforts — they are profound and irreplaceable forms of wellbeing. No care home, however well run, can replicate the therapeutic power of home.

The Team Behind Your Care
Cornerstone Care Ltd draws from a wealth of experience in clinical nursing, leadership, and business management. Our leadership is shaped by the NHS — and our frontline care team is shaped by genuine passion.
Expert Leadership You Can Rely On
Our Registered Manager is a qualified Registered Nurse with more than 15 years of experience across multiple NHS trusts and in the adult social care sector. Having served in roles including Clinical Lead and Deputy Manager, our leadership brings a level of clinical rigour and professional accountability that families can trust.
This is not management from behind a desk. Our Registered Manager is actively involved in care planning, quality assurance, and the ongoing supervision of our care team — ensuring that the standards we promise are the standards delivered.

Our wider care team is made up of individuals who chose this work because they care — not simply because it is a job. Each carer joins Cornerstone following a thorough recruitment process, and every team member receives comprehensive induction training and ongoing professional development.
